Davit Arm Mounting System

The Miller* Davit Mounting System serves as an anchorage connector for entry and retrieval units, winches or other devices in extremely tight situations where tripods or quad pods are not practical. Mounted on a ladder, it can be extended into a manhole, vault or tank. (Ladder rungs need to spaced at 12” intervals.)

  • The complete system includes: Mounting plate, 1-Main tubing, 1-Retrieval unit bracket and pulley 1-Head assembly
  • Model 8847-9 consists of davit arm (8847-2), base (8847-1), self-retracting lifeline bracket (8847-3), and pulley head assembly (8847-4).
  • Optional Base: 8847-8 Permanent Davit System Mounting Base
