Dispose of spent aerosol cans safely and conveniently with the Aerosolv Aerosol Can Disposal System. Aerosolv’s puncturing unit relieves remaining pressure in aerosol cans, changing them from solid hazardous waste to nonhazardous, recyclable waste, which is far less expensive to dispose of.
Every 100 cans punctured and emptied by Aerosolv increases recyclable scrap metal by 25 lbs and reduces solid waste by 10 cu. ft.
The system is designed to allow residual liquids to drain from aerosol cans into a standard 55-gallon drum, which may eventually hold the contents of over 4000 spent aerosol cans.
The puncturing unit is made of low-maintenance aircraft aluminum and threads into the standard 2” bung of a 55-gallon drum. It accepts series 200, 300 and 6-oz cans.
The puncturing unit requires no power to operate. Carbide-tipped piercing pin will puncture thousands of cans with no visible sign of wear.
The Combination Coalescing/Carbon Filter threads into the ¾” drum bung. The lower coalescing section removes airborne liquids. The replaceable upper activated carbon cartridge absorbs hydrocarbons and odor.
Standard Aerosolv System includes puncturing unit, standard coalescing/carbon filter, antistatic wire and safety goggles.
Aerosolv Super System adds a lockout/shutoff mechanism for a positive, leak-proof seal when not in use, a keyed padlock, a 32-oz bottle of degreaser and a convenient, color-changing coalescing/carbon filter that signals saturation, ensuring full use of the cartridge.
