3M™ Particulate Respirator 8246, R95

The 8246 provides relief from nuisance levels (below OSHA PEL) of acid gases like hydrogen fluoride, sulfur dioxide and chlorine, as well as solid and liquid particles including those containing oil.

  • Lightweight construction promotes greater worker comfort and acceptance.
  • Adjustable nose clip helps provide a custom fit and a secure seal, helping to reduce the potential for eyewear fogging.
  • NIOSH 42 CFR 84 classification of R95, (minimum 95% efficient, resistant to oil).
  • All 3M™ products shown must be used in accordance with OSHA regulations (with the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction in your region and/or CSA standard Z94.4) and the user instructions, warnings and limitations accompanying each product.
  • Warning: These respirators help reduce exposure to certain airborne contaminants. Before use, the wearer must read and understand the User Instructions provided as a part of the product packaging. A written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the requirements of OSHA 1910.134, including training, fit testing and medical evaluation. In Canada, CSA standards Z94.4 requirements must be met and/or requirements of the applicable jurisdiction, as appropriate. Misuse may result in sickness or death.
